Kind: captions Language: en A brand new Tesla was just spotted above Tesla's Texas factory, and the internet is going wild. This could be a new Model Y. It could be a Tesla van. It could be an SUV. Rumors are just going crazy on what this new model could be. Plus, Tesla is releasing a bunch of little updates, finally fixing a lot of the most annoying owner issues. And also, I get a lot of questions as to what new features and changes are coming next inside of your Tesla, and I've got an answer because I just kind of dug deep through Tesla's patents, and there's a lot of exciting stuff hopefully coming soon. For example, your next Tesla could have beyond just a heated windshield, an actual heated zoned setting that you could actually heat individual zones of the windows around the car for kind of, you know, more efficiently heating the most important parts of the car. We also know that Tesla is working on some updates to their steering wheel. In fact, it looks like they're going to be swapping out the buttons they have with a new haptic engine system that could actually kind of give you artificial feedback based on what you're doing. And what's kind of cool with this system is it basically would allow you to remap any of the buttons you wanted because it would just be sensing your finger. So instead of like hunting for a specific little button on the steering wheel, you could just kind of set up a zone. So anytime your finger hits that zone, you get kind of a buzz confirmation and the car does its thing and you could kind of change that zone to do any kind of action dynamically. Some of you will also be very happy to know that Tesla is finally redoing their whole door handle situation. There's been a lot of laws and rules going in around the world to force them to do this. And CyberCap is actually introducing the new mechanism. We can see here in a video and some photos on this new system that is both manual and powered. You're basically pulling up now to exit and engage the door to actually get out of the vehicle. No more of this kind of silhouette button. Uh no more, you know, kind of unmarked buttons. Tesla's kind of redoing that entire system. And this will likely be rolling out on new vehicles soon. Of course, starting right now with Cyber Cab. Beyond that, of course, there is a bunch of work in the patent department being done on full self-driving, virtual cameras, how the car sees and interacts with the world around it. We of course recently got a patent for Tesla's new Starlink module that they're actually working on some kind of module system that would allow you to add Starlink to your Tesla kind of being built into the roof. We've got some battery modules. Hopefully, some range boosts are coming soon. And then one other question I get a lot is about a 360deree topdown bird's eyee view. Elon confirmed not too long ago that Tesla was going to do this and they're actually a bunch of patents Tesla has been filing for years now that suggests they could totally roll this feature out in a software update and kind of stitch together a live topdown bird's eye view for your car, assuming you've got a front bumper camera. Of course, there are just so many reasons why this kind of view is popular on cars and why it would make so much sense, especially with Tesla's new autonomy features and auto park and things like that. Having this kind of live bird's eye view would be really useful for things like parking and things like that. And of course, you can leave it to the Tesla community to come up with great implementations and ideas of what Tesla could do. like some pun here on X came up with a concept for smart view that basically overlays some of the cameras around your car into the corners of the visualizer. So instead of just seeing that one little blind spot preview, you could actually have a live feed of different uh cameras around the car and this could even work in other areas as well. They're working on it. Definitely something they could do with a software update and I think would be a very welcomed addition by many in the community, including myself. But of course, if we're talking about like the actual upgrades that'll likely come very soon, like this year, there are two that stuck out to me from all the info and reports. Number one is a new sound system. In fact, the Model Y L among all the other creature comforts it's got, uh, does have a new sound system X, which Tesla says is the most immersive, most 360, 3DI sound system they have, better than all the other Model Y's and the S's and X's and everything. I think it's currently the best sound system they have only in the Y L. So hopefully that comes to other vehicles whether it's with a hardware update or a software update. That would be nice. Some algorithm tweaks there. And then wireless charging, which Tesla has been teasing for years now with the launch of Cyber Cab should finally be coming. And hopefully, according to Tesla, you can like buy a module for your garage to wirelessly charge while you're at home. And then when you're on the go, it looks like according to some filings that Tesla is going to add some dedicated wireless charging areas to some of their new supercharger installs. So, in addition to like mega stalls and all the fast charging and the new cabinets and things like that, there also will be a dedicated area just for wireless charging your Tesla. And then something else just to keep on your radar is that we are quickly approaching the end of March, which is also the end of the quarter, which means some of Tesla's deals will be going away. They currently have some special 0% APR deals. They've got some 1% deals. There are a couple of lease specials in there. Basically, long story short, there really haven't been that many good deals from Tesla so far in 2026. Uh, but if you are looking to buy or lease, uh, just do keep in mind that those deals will be going away at the end of March and then all of the incentives reset. And then, of course, the other big news of the week in the Tesla world really boils down to three big things. There was a brand new surprise Elon announcement and an upcoming April event. There is this mysterious new Tesla that just popped up out of nowhere in Texas. And then some nice software updates that while not the big spring update yet, though that's kind of rolling out in pieces around the world, uh there are some pretty big bug fixes here that I think are going to fix a lot of the most annoying stuff uh many of you have been dealing with for years now. Now, in terms of the Elon announcements, I covered this recently. So to make a very long story short, there is a brand new joint venture between Tesla, SpaceX, and XAI called Terraab. It is basically this new gigantic building factory campus that is an all-in-one kind of place where Tesla can build and design and manufacture their new chips, their silicon that will power your next generation Tesla product. So think about like the AI5 and AI6 like the new camera systems for FSD. Those will be designed built inhouse with the same silicon also going into rockets and robots and other Tesla technologies. And of course Elon said that a Roadster reveal will be happening near the end of April, which would be a great time for a Tesla event. We're waiting on several updates, including new incentives, FSD updates, uh, hardware 3, uh, FSD updates for those owners, new colors, new models, etc., etc. I just did a deep dive into what an event video could look like. I'll leave a link to that down below, but long story short, keep that on your radar for the end of next month. And then we get to the story that basically broke the internet a couple of days ago. There were a few pictures taken by Joe Tegmire. He is the guy that flies the drone above the Tesla Texas factory. And he captured some interesting shots of what many will debate is some kind of new Tesla model. You'll see kind of the casting for what looks like some new Tesla model. And we basically have a couple images. There's one angle there. There's a closer angle here. And here is a final angle here. And the internet is very much split as to exactly what this image shows. And I've got to give Tesla big kudos here because one of the things they do so well is provide a real great cohesive experience. They bring so much of this different technology and hardware together to really give their end user that their drivers and customers a real unique experience which is great. And it would only be, you know, kind of nice and great to get that same experience in other parts of our life as well, especially when it comes to our personal finances. Because I don't know about you guys, but I am so sick and tired of jumping between spreadsheets and apps and websites, just trying to get a clear picture of where my money is coming in and going out. And the internet is very much split as to exactly what this image shows. Some think that this is the new Model Y L getting ready to make its North American debut. Would make a lot of sense. Some think this is a new Tesla van. Some think it's a Cyber Cab XL. Basically, the internet has a lot of wild theories and rumors as to exactly what that thing is. Now, as you'd imagine, the internet is going to do what the internet does best, which is wild speculation. Though, I should mention there is a kernel of truth to some of the speculation as we do know that Tesla is working on some kind of new SUV. remember those rumors about a cyber SUV were all fun and games until Tesla kind of plainly put it out in one of their promotional videos that they are in fact working or at least modeling some kind of larger SUV. Elon has talked about this for a while. Obviously, the sun setting of the Model X leaves some new kind of greener pastures ahead for some kind of replacement and the internet is going wild as to what this could be. I'll show you some of the best concepts I saw. Somebody showed here what a Model V could look like. A a van kind sporty version of the Model Y that this could be. Someone showed another video or sorry, a video or a photo here, if I can get my photo to video ratio right of what this could look like, some kind of Model Y inspired SUV. Basically, the internet seems to think this is likely a Model Y L. But what's throwing a lot of people off is kind of the shape. Now, some are saying that maybe this part back here is just the trunk open a bit, but some say that still doesn't explain the slope. Some are saying just the dimensions are off. That just doesn't look like what a Model Y L would be. It's still larger. Whatever it is, it looks like some pretty large vehicle that maybe if we're talking about speculation, maybe this is the basis of Tesla testing some larger vehicle, some new SUV, some new van. Maybe it's something that's all FSD based. I don't know. Likely though, what a lot of the evidence points to again is some version of the Model Y L because the Model Y is so rapidly expanding now to New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, China. I saw some news recently that it looks like it's launching soon in South Korea. It's going to be going to Europe soon. Uh the North American market is just a matter of time. It's not if it's happening, it's just when. And maybe this points to a Model Y Lunch. Maybe sometime in Q2 or Q3, early Q3, as we learn more about this mysterious car. I'll let you know. Uh but uh you please leave your guess down below as to what you think this image is. What is this thing? All right. And then finally, Tesla app updates are always exciting. Um we're always waiting for new features and things like that. Like I mentioned, yes, there is a spring update. It's rolling out in pieces right now. Some little tidbits are coming in certain areas. China, of course, as usual, is getting a lot of the best features first. As more things roll out, I will let you know. But in the meantime, a couple of small updates have been rolling out that you should be aware of. Uh, one of them now is with the app. Tesla has recently redesigned the service tab within the Tesla mobile app. So, you have a new experience there. You also can now see the last driver profile of the person that drove your car. So, you can kind of have a little security kind of a little glance. you can see who recently drove your car. There also is a new feedback uh kind of uh option built into the mobile app as well that presumably if you had feedback for Tesla or there was a bug or some kind of incident instead of making a voice recording on the car, you could just open up your phone and make a little note in the app. That's kind of nice. And hopefully attach pictures and reference videos there as well. And then also um there are some updates coming to the Tesla wall connector. I know a lot of people have had a lot of weird issues getting that to work with their internet. Um, that update is rolling out now. So, if you had a wall connector having issues, hopefully that fixes a lot of the issues and that should work a little bit more reliably for you. And then finally, we've also heard the last kind of major FSD version. I think it's 14.3 Elon says is in internal testing and should be rolling out publicly in the next couple of weeks. So, be on the lookout for that. And for all of you guys out there who are Tesla owners, longtime owners, new owners, maybe you're looking to buy a Tesla soon, this is my favorite part of the video because I've got some exclusive discount codes and like freebies and upgrades that you cannot find anywhere else but my videos. Also, with all of the new Tesla software updates and all the features and the FSD improvements, have no doubt your Tesla is getting smarter than it's ever been before. And there is so much data we now have access to. The key to doing all that is a product aptly named the key by my friends over at Matter. Because this little supercharged flash drive looking device can solve two of Tesla's biggest problems beyond the default 60-minute rolling buffer. You actually get way more recording with this thing. It's also giving you the context when it matters. A full-on interactive timeline view of your driving that you can beautifully check out right inside of their companion app. And especially these days as more and more of us are doing full self-driving drives and letting the car do all the hard work for us. It would be great if we could really understand how the car is doing things and when it's making decisions and when disengagements happened, maybe what caused that. Again, that data, if you know how to access it, is super valuable. And the key is able to show you that. The companion app does a wonderful job of laying out all of the data of your FSD drives, showing you some amazing analytics and breakdowns. And also, what I love about this thing is not only does it work for Sentry mode and dash cam, but is giving you full uncompressed, high quality, full res video uh of the camera feeds your car is able to capture that just look really good. I'll actually be doing some full in-depth coverage of this thing coming up very soon. I'll show you how to set it up, how it works, more in-depth coverage, things like that. And then also their 4-in-one charger is going to give you a fast 69 watts of charging power that'll charge up phones, tablets, laptops, plus two retractable cables, a nice long lightning cable, and a nice long USBC cable. And when you don't need it, you can simply retract it back. It keeps everything clean and you are good to go.
